For replacing a cv boiler fan the installer charges me 250,- for material costs. These are also the only costs since labor is part of the service contract. It now appears that the fan in question is supplied to the wholesaler by the product supplier for €50.47 excluding VAT, and on the internet I find prices ranging from €65 to even €47 (including VAT). Can the installer simply charge his 'own price' for material costs, and what is reasonable?Lawyer
