If I, as a self-employed person (in construction), have to have a knee operation Undergoing and the rehabilitation will take longer than 6 months and if I do not have AOV insurance, am I entitled to assistance or something similar? MVGLawyer
You are entitled to assistance if you have no work/income and no more than a modest amount of assets to be released (Euro 5,850.00 for a single person). In addition, a sanction may be imposed for insufficient sense of responsibility if the municipality believes that you have not done everything to prevent the application for assistance.
