Kitchen color difference? Get legal advice!

Questioner

I had a new kitchen installed and upon delivery there appeared to be a large colour difference in the parts of the countertop. The company where I ordered the kitchen and had it installed indicated that this was on the sticker of the example in the showroom. I, 2 other companions read this and it was not indicated by the seller either. Now that I have looked at the sticker it says that there may be a difference in structure in the countertop, but there is no mention of a difference in colour. According to the seller, a difference in structure also means a difference in colour. He is going to submit it to his supplier but already indicates that he will give the same answer. My question in this, in order to be able to give an appropriate answer to the other party, is: 'Is a difference in structure also a difference in color and/or should the seller have reported this?'.

Lawyer

If that is the case, the seller should have explained this to you because no one wants a difference in colour. The breach of the duty to provide information is a reason to put the kitchen supplier in default and order him to provide you with a uniformly coloured kitchen worktop.

Lawyer

That is an insufficient answer from the seller. You do not have to accept that. It is important to look at the purchase contract and any general terms and conditions. If you wish, I can provide you with initial, brief advice without any obligation.
