Domicile and Lease: What You Need to Know
Questioner
My rental agreement states that I have a domicile, does that mean that I am obliged to have my main residence there? Or does that only mean that I am registered at that address but am not obliged to live there all the time? There is nothing about having my main residence in the rented property, it concerns a social housing unit, I recently started a live-alone relationship and I would like to sleep at my girlfriend's a few days a week, but I do not know if that is allowed and if there is a difference between domicile and main residence in the rental agreementLawyer
Maintaining a domicile means that you have your main residence there.Lawyer
Yes, that is a mandatory residential address. But that does not mean that you cannot step outside the door. Purchased must be made with the definition of living as it has been developed in case law.Take the next step
