Legal advice on contracts and salaries

Questioner

I have a contract of 38 hours per week (on a monthly basis this is 164.66 hours). My employer has now paid for the hours worked and not the hours stated in the contract. Is this allowed?

Lawyer

No, this is not allowed. If there are fewer hours due to, for example, less available work, this is at the expense and risk of the employer. You are then entitled to payment of your normal salary. For more information, please feel free to contact me,
