because my situation has changed in terms of income and also that of my ex, I was recalculating the alimony, but it is not clear to me whether the result applies to a child (or if you have two) or whether it is the total amount you get out of it. so if it comes out to 170 euros you pay your ex-partner money, that is per child or for both. yours sincerely

I don't know exactly what calculation you made, can you tell me more about it? There are calculation tools in which you can enter your net income. Your ability to pay is then calculated. This is the maximum amount you could pay in child support (so for all children together). Whether it is reasonable for you to pay that amount depends on the ability to pay of the other parent. Parents must contribute to the costs of their children in proportion to their ability to pay.
