Reporting Libel and Slander: Your Legal Advice

I actually want to file a complaint of libel and slander against my neighbor. She has been on the offensive against me for over a year. It was quiet for a while and this morning she started again. I immediately informed the housing association by email. Because of her behavior, friends no longer visit me or leave very quickly. She actually called me a whore this morning. I think this is a very bad thing. She will also burden my son with this when he hears about it. Last year she already started to smear me in the neighborhood. I have done neighborhood mediation (at my request). This has not helped. I have already informed the housing association that she will continue to destroy me, since she has not succeeded so far. Due to my seriously ill son and my work, I am not looking forward to this. It costs me too much energy that I need for my son! I hope you can advise me on what to do now. In order to advise you on the best next step, I would need to know step by step what steps you have taken, what the landlord has done etc. But from what I read, I would say that the landlord must take action, if she does nothing, then they can try to enforce a contact ban through the court, force her to stop talking about you etc. If you would like further help and/or advice, please feel free to contact me.
