BAPO scheme MBO: Days off and work obligations

I use the BAPO scheme in secondary vocational education. My day off is Friday. Can my employer oblige me to participate in a 'Christmas celebration' (reception by the director + walk + dinner) on this day on the Friday before the start of the holiday? It is already the second Friday that I would be obliged to miss and I have other activities to do.
