Wage increase reversed? Ask your legal rights.

I work as a temp. Last week I received an email that I had received a pay rise. In the attachment was an agreement signed by my employer, the temp agency. I did not have to sign it myself, it would be implemented automatically. Now today I get an email that this pay rise was a mistake and is now being reversed. Is that allowed?

They may correct an error, but you do not have to agree with this and you must inform them of this in writing. If they do not agree, they must submit the case to a judge. What the outcome will be is never predictable. I also advise you to check whether the increase is not being wrongly stopped in this way.
