Good evening, I have AOW and would like to apply for a postal address because I want to stay abroad for a period of less than 8 months. The rest of the time I will stay in a holiday home in the Netherlands. If I want to extend the validity of the postal address and the municipality is going to (re)assess, do I have to be able to demonstrate that I will be staying abroad in HDT? If your intention is a recurring application for a postal address, I can tell you that the postal address is not intended for that and can often only be extended once. You can find the regulations regarding the postal address of your municipality on www.overheid.nl or the website of your municipality.
