My employment contract expired on 31-12-2015. This 'ends by operation of law without notice being required'. In November I had a conversation with my employer. He indicated that he could not yet tell me whether I could continue working. Later in December 2015, after a discussion, we came to the conclusion that we could not continue with a new contract together. My question: The employer has not observed the notice period. Am I entitled to a notice payment?Lawyer
