Mortgage and Liability after Divorce - Legal Aid
Questioner
I have a mortgage with my ex at the ING bank, we are officially divorced but I am not released from joint and several liability by the ING. However, I am never informed by the ING and ex and ING refuses to inform me. My question is, given my joint and several liability, not ING simply obliged to provide me with all the information that my ex does receive and how does article 3.6 of the general mortgage conditions relate now that we are divorced and no longer responsible for each other's financial dealings, see the literal text 3.6 Each debtor grants each co-debtor irrevocable power of attorney to make all statements, including notifications, to the bank on behalf of the principal.Lawyer
That should have happened, I assume. How is that possible? Is that not properly agreed. I would like to receive more information in order to be able to advise you properly. If you wish, you can contact me directly about this.Take the next step
