Liability of housing association for floor problems?

Questioner

In 2014, energy measures and renovation work were carried out on my home, which I rent from the Housing Association, consisting of: -Roof insulation -facade insulation -crawl space insulation -HR++ glazing -PV Solar Panels -Air heat pump (Inventum Ecolution) -HR CV Combination boiler. In 1996, after an interior renovation, I had a solid oak parquet floor installed. Due to the above energy measures that have been implemented, my floor has started to shrink after 19 years and has gaping cracks through which even the subfloor is visible. Can I hold the Housing Association liable for this?

Lawyer

They can't do anything about the fact that the feed has shrunk, and they are not responsible either, and it has been going on for a number of years. You will have to pay for the costs yourself.

Questioner

The floor started to shrink after the renovation in June 2014, I haven't noticed this for a number of years. Before that time I didn't have those problems.
