Legal Advice on Damages and Liability
Questioner
My 13-year-old daughter crashed into an open car door due to her own carelessness. The passenger was getting out at the time. A claim form was filled out. My insurance says that the liability insurance is not for this and the other party must recover the damage from her own car insurance. My daughter has no damage other than a torn pair of pants and blue legs. How does this work exactly?Lawyer
The other party reports the damage to their own insurer, who will then contact your insurer if your daughter has an AVP insurance. If this is not the case, you will have to pay for the damage yourself. For more information or further assistance, you can contact me directly and free of charge.Take the next step
