I am a single mother of 27 and a daughter of 3. I was in the wwb but had to follow a program to work at the thrift store, a paid job, and then I had to leave the benefits completely. I got a six-month contract at the thrift store. I could choose a one-year or six-month contract, this is a stepping stone and I had to look for other work, which I did and now work in home care, only too few hours. Now I wanted to apply for a supplement, but then they say that I have to supplement my remaining hours at the thrift store. I know that if your child is younger than 5 years old, you are not obliged to apply for a job, but then you have to follow a training course. I wanted to do this but I did not get through the training. What should I do now? Is it true that I cannot get a supplement and then have to go to the thrift store to fill it up?Lawyer
If you have lost 5 or more hours of work and you have worked for at least 26 weeks, you are entitled to unemployment benefits. I advise you to contact the UWV about this. If your income from home care plus the unemployment benefit (with any allowance) is lower than the social assistance standard applicable to you, you are entitled to a supplementary social assistance benefit.Lawyer
In addition to Radstaat the following. You can request an exemption from the application requirement on the basis of article 9a Participation Act (social assistance). Municipalities (almost) never apply this spontaneously. However, the reintegration requirement (article 9 PW) also remains in your case.Take the next step
