Dear, I do the administration for a company. Now it is the case that my employer has multiple companies. For a few months now I have also been doing the administration for them. Without extra money just on the side. However, my employer does not want me to work longer, I now work 3 hours a day. So I am running out of time. Can I indicate that I really only want to do the administration for the company for which I was hired and which is stated in my contract. Or am I obliged to do this. I have been working for this company for 16 years and since January 2016 we have had a new management and they are trying to get rid of the old guard in very childish ways. They have made a personnel handbook and if you do not adhere to it it is refusal to work and you are thrown out. and that is what I am afraid of. I am just over 30 so another job is easy to find but I have a hernia and have to have surgery soon and I would like to do that at a company where I have a permanent contract :)Lawyer
In these types of situations, what is reasonable and fair plays an important role. It seems to me that your employer can expect you to do the administration for other companies within the group. However, sufficient time must be available for this and if you cannot manage this in those 3 hours per day, then you must be given an extension, or you must get help from someone else.Neem de volgende stap
