I have been on unemployment benefits since February of this year, now my husband turned 65 in March and recently received an advance payment of the AOW on September 14 and soon the entire AOW in October. Now they have withheld an amount from my unemployment benefit payment. I am 62 years old myself. My question is, is that possible, but since it concerns me, I am on unemployment benefits, my husband has nothing to do with it, unemployment benefits are personal, I have paid for them for years, I have worked in healthcare for 18 years!

If you received a supplement to your unemployment benefit because your partner had no income of their own, your supplement (and therefore your total unemployment benefit) will be lower if your partner receives income.
