Legal advice on slander and barking letters
Questioner
Good afternoon, I received a barking letter from a lawyer of a puppy farmer. I am accused of slandering him. I had a closed group in which this gentleman was discussed, and there was probably 1 member who copied or screenshotted the conversations and passed them on to the breeder. Nothing was ever said publicly or publicly, only privately. Now his lawyer demands that I delete everything and that nothing more may be said about him, and he demands that I confess in writing within 48 hours. If not, summary proceedings will follow and the breeder wants to recover the costs from me. Now my question is what should I do?Lawyer
It sounds like there is no slander. In order to assess the case, I need more information. Such as the lawyer's letter, what the closed group was, and what was said. If you would like me to assess your case, you can contact me directly.Take the next step
