Liability of a carpentry company | Rechtswinkel.nl
Questioner
Good day As a private individual, I built a house under my own management. I hired a carpentry company (self-employed) for the various activities. This person also laid the roof with roof tiles. Now, during the last 2 storms, approximately 60 roof tiles were blown off the roof. It now appears that the roof tiles were not attached according to the regulations (they were not secured with tile hooks). Can I hold the carpentry company liable for both the damage and for not carrying out the work correctly?Lawyer
