Legal assistance with divorce and questions

My husband and I were getting divorced via the internet and except for the agreement about the house and pensions, etc., everything was settled. We would sign a final discharge. I think that my husband, under the influence of 'old friends', has now completely changed his mind and has decided to 'get everything out of it that is in it. He has a pro bono lawyer, I have to pay for a lawyer myself. Does the fact that he had already signed a number of agreements still have value in the coming process? And first of all, he has now requested a tax refund for 2015, while he has never paid any owner's charges since mid-2010. The other part of the tax was medical expenses incurred by me. I really feel that as theft. Do I still have any rights here? How useful is it for me to unilaterally file a divorce petition?Lawyer
You probably cannot derive any rights from the agreements already made and recorded. Normally, these agreements only have value if, on the basis of them, the agreements are ratified by the court in a divorce agreement. In general, it is best to try to enter into consultation with him again via mediation. Apart from the costs, mediation is a method to settle the consequences of the divorce much faster. Perhaps you can still agree together and choose a new mediator. Litigation is always an option.Questioner
My husband is very clear. He doesn't want a mediator, he just wants a lot of money. And if I can't/don't want to give that, then the house has to be sold. I can't buy him out now because I have sickness benefits. By the way, he's been living separately for 2 years, he left himself. I would like to apply for interim relief and that I will be entitled to buy the house in 1 or 2 years when I work again. Is that an option?Lawyer
Provisional measures can only temporarily secure the use of the home. However, you cannot obtain the right to buy the home in the long term. As a co-owner, he can force you to cooperate in the sale.Take the next step
