Legal Advice on Widow's Pension Recovery
Questioner
I have been receiving widow's pension for years. Last April I received 14,000 euros in my name, my account number, the amount was stated in the description with my name behind it again. I assumed it was mine, that too little had been paid out in recent years. The following month I received an extra 155 euros also in my name etc. Now the bpfbouw is demanding the money back because they made a mistake. My question is, am I obliged to give it back? I don't know any better than it is mine because my name was clearly stated in the description. I am waiting with anticipationLawyer
Have you received a decision from the BPF on paper? In this, the BPF will have to motivate why you have to pay back the amount. If you have such a letter, I can read it for you to see if it is correct.Take the next step
