Legal Assistance for Car Purchase Problems
Questioner
On July 22, 2017 I bought a VW Passat from 1998. The buyer reported by phone that the car had a small damage to the front. Well, no problem and I knew what to look for. Once I arrived at the seller's I looked at the car. Coolers inspected. Oil checked Coolant level checked Run the air conditioning before the pump. Car temperature remained good. Drove it a bit and it drove and shifted well. Bought a car and I drive home and after 70 km the engine starts to rattle and a big white cloud of smoke comes from behind the car. It is immediately clear to me the engine is broken. Clutch depressed and car exhaust rolls onto the hard shoulder. I immediately called the company and they told me that they could not do anything for me and that I had to arrange something myself. Well done and had it towed for €250, - and now no car anymore What are my rights and what can I do about the towing costs? Would like a quick response. Because I am without a car.Lawyer
It seems that the car does not meet your expectations, i.e. that you can drive the car for some time without any significant problems. You would probably be wise to cancel the purchase and reclaim the purchase price. In that case, the car must also be returned to the seller.Take the next step
