Legal Advice for Working in Germany
Questioner
My boyfriend, originally from Croatia, is looking for a job in Germany (since he needs a work permit in the Netherlands and a job is therefore impossible to find), but in order to get a job he has to register at an address, he has been told by various employment agencies in Germany. If he registers at my parents' address, what consequences does that have for my parents?Lawyer
I do not know your parents' situation so I cannot judge whether and, if so, what consequences this has. Is registration possible with you?Lawyer
Due to the government this simply has no consequences - only if they receive benefits they have to pay attention! . Your parents must pay all the additional costs (garbage etc., details depending on the living situation) for your friend. If the house is rented they must inform the landlord and the house is suitable for one more person.Take the next step
