Hold contractor liable? Get free advice!

My outside door was not repaired to my complete satisfaction by a contractor. I have not paid and the contractor refuses to complete the job. What can I do in this situation? The contractor has acknowledged that he had the work carried out by unqualified personnel. Can I hold him liable and if so, how?

You must give notice to the contractor to still complete the repair expertly within a certain period, failing which you will have this done elsewhere at his expense.
