Legal assistance with verbal agreements

A year and a half ago, as an entrepreneur, I entered into a verbal agreement for the provision of services. Invoiced hours were paid promptly every month. On August 2, I received an email message that I had to temporarily suspend my services until a conversation had taken place. An appointment could not be made and arguments for terminating the verbal agreement were not given. They also did not respond to my messages. Do I have a case here?
