Legal assistance with debts and bailiffs

Questioner

My father and grandmother live on a farm in 2 separate houses. My father is now in debt and is in debt restructuring. My grandmother is constantly harassed by bailiffs because my father works all day, I'm talking about an 80 year old woman who experiences far too much stress from this, it's a bit scandalous. In addition, first there was the auction then the rest of the car was taken away then they got half of it back. And now they've come to pick it up again, the number plates were ripped off and thrown down, the car from my grandfather's grandmother's inheritance was smashed, glass my father is a glazier broken while my grandmother has her dogs outside, yes my father could clean it up in the evening but then the dogs have to stay inside all day. After all these stories I'm starting to wonder what these people are doing! For grandma really old abuse far too much stress for her the rest pure destruction and it doesn't yield anything anymore, isn't the intention that they sell that stuff to be able to pay off money on debt irons? I don't know much about it because I don't live at home anymore, but I would like to know what they are allowed to do and what they are absolutely not allowed to do and is there anything I can do to keep my grandmother out of this? Lawyer

What an annoying situation you, your father and grandmother have found themselves in. If the actions you described were performed by/on behalf of a bailiff, you can file a complaint, see for example: https://www.kbvg.nl/6387/ik-heb-een-vordering/klachtprocedure.html You write that your father is in debt restructuring. This means that there is probably a legal debt restructuring and that there is a trustee who must take care of the settlement of the debt restructuring. It seems to me that you should contact this trustee as soon as possible to make your dissatisfaction about the course of events clear and to ensure that your grandmother and her inheritance and possessions are left alone.
