Terminate gym contract? Free advice!

I have a contract at the gym for another half year. Now I was recently asked out to dinner by one of the instructors who work there, to which I replied that I was not interested. Since then they do not want to make schedules anymore and it does not feel good for me to work out there anymore. Can I terminate my contract without having to pay any more? The gym says that I have to keep paying.

You cannot simply terminate your contract and not so much for the reason stated. You must put the gym in default to still make the schedules if this is what you agreed. If the gym refuses, then (partial) termination is possible.
