Building a Canopy? Discover Permit Requirements

I would like to build a canopy in my garden, the canopy is 2.3m high and is attached to the outbuilding. The total length is 7 metres. It is not on the property boundary. Am I then obliged to apply for a permit?

Dear questioner, For (re)building, an environmental permit for building is usually required (higher than 3 mtr). Sometimes you do not need an environmental permit.
