Rental law: What to do when selling your apartment?

I was supposed to move into an apartment on March 1st. I have a permanent contract, but the landlord now indicates that there is a buyer who wants to buy the apartment. That means that I am not allowed to move in now. Can the landlord just do this, what am I entitled to?

No. You are entitled to fulfilment of the agreement, also in the case of rental under the Vacancy Act because there is a minimum rental period of six months. If that is the case, you can live there for six months and/or claim compensation in connection with the breach of contract.
