Help with unsolicited parcel and payment problems

A package was delivered here by the postman, our minor (15) daughter is the addressee. Mother accidentally accepted the package, because she thought it was something else that we ordered! Now it turns out that it comes from a company, of which our daughter says she only filled in something, to be able to win a phone! She did not order anything and she never does. We have the feeling that something is being forced on us... the package was only opened to see what was in it, those are really cheap things, which are of no use to us. It is still here as we received it. From the moment we received it (March 14) we received payment reminders, notices. The first was already March 19. Our daughter sent an email herself on March 14, but received no answer. On March 22, we as parents sent an email to the email address they provided, for cancellation, returns etc., but also received no answer. In the meantime, the 'final reminder' arrived by mail on Saturday, with cost increases, the original amount was 44.95, now with formal notice costs already 69.95. The worst thing is that everything is directed at our daughter and she is made insecure and scared!!! What is the best thing to do, we have the strong feeling that we are being tricked?Lawyer
Did you not ask for the product? Or did you not give permission to the company to send the product? For example, by telephone or by sending a receipt? Then you are not obliged to pay for the product. If the company wants you to pay, then the company must prove that you gave permission. A targeted letter from a lawyer can help with this.Take the next step
