Help with Youth Care: Out-of-home placement and Children

Hello My partner has 2 daughters from another relationship. Due to events that happened 2 years ago, the girls are under the supervision of the juvenile court. The youngest is now 10 years old and is so naughty with all of us and we all know for sure that there is something wrong with her but she does not want to say what. Now she is always busy that she wants to go to an institution and we have talked about it to maybe consider it, but now my question is if we do that for the youngest, does the eldest also have to go to an institution because she is also under supervision because we do not want that because we have no problems with the eldest? We really don't know what to do anymore Thank you in advance

Good afternoon, Out-of-home placement is a last resort, because it is very drastic. First, everything must be done to prevent out-of-home placement. In the case of serious behavioral problems, out-of-home placement is possible and in this case voluntary. This does not mean that the other child also has these problems. The situation is assessed per child. One child can therefore be placed out of home and the other child can simply continue to live at home if this goes well.
