Tax return and housing allowance: Your rights

Does the municipality have the right to demand my full tax return from me in connection with housing allowance? I think that they have nothing to do with, for example, which institutions I donate to or which political party I am a member of.

In itself, the municipality should assess your right to allowance based on income and expenditure. Showing the entire tax return seems to me to go too far. You can make the items unrecognizable and still submit them like that. An overview via an IB 60 form may also provide a solution.
