What are the regulations for quotes to private individuals? I received a quote with an amount on it. In retrospect, there was an amount excluding VAT on this Now I receive an invoice including VAT, which is logical. According to the internet, a company is required to report a quote including VAT to prevent deception, is that correct? Or should I have read better? I assumed that everything is included, because that is customary.Lawyer
If you are a consumer, you should receive a quote including VAT. If it concerns a business agreement between parties, then excluding VAT may also suffice.Questioner
