Summary proceedings against a neighbor? Get free advice!

Questioner

Good afternoon, I want to file a summary proceeding against my neighbor. She has put a cloth in front of a window of our house. This window is on the property line, but has demonstrably been there for more than 20 years, and is also too high to hinder her privacy. So that cloth has to go, and I am convinced that the judge will agree with us. I have already put a note in her mailbox to ask her to remove it, no result. The next step will be a registered letter. If she does not respond to that either, I will go to the bailiff to start summary proceedings. What happens if she removes the canvas after the bailiff's letter? Will the summary proceedings still go ahead, or will she get off with a whimper and will I lose 100 euros to the bailiff?

A bailiff can summon your neighbor to fix the situation, but for summary proceedings you will most likely need a lawyer. If desired, I can help you with this. In that case, please contact me immediately?
