Question about postal address? Get legal advice!

My brother wants to use my address as his postal address for the time being. He does not actually want to come and live with me, but he needs a postal address for the time being. However, he is going through a divorce and is also involved in the bankruptcy of his sole proprietorship. The trustee is currently working on this case. Do I run any risk in this, for example if debts have to be collected by creditors who then suddenly show up at my door or seize my belongings. The tax authorities are also a creditor. Please respondLawyer
Normally you run the risk that your belongings can be seized if your brother is registered with you. However, this is different with a postal address and seizure cannot simply be imposed because the postal address is not the same as a residential address, which is customary for seizure. A public service will then have to take place, which will significantly reduce the chance of seizure.Lawyer
It is best to inform the bailiff/curator/tax authorities that they do not have a factual residence at your address. This does help because these authorities do not want an unlawful seizure either.Take the next step
