VVE Liability for Water Damage - Legal Aid

Ir/Madam, Due to the blockage in the drain pipe, the dishwasher's waste water ended up in the kitchen, causing damage to the kitchen unit, laminate flooring and electrical equipment. Can I hold the VVE liable for all this damage? Thank you in advance.
