Resigning? Your notice period explained

Questioner

I want to resign. What is my notice period? In the collective labor agreement, it is 1 month for an employee. For an employer, it depends on how long you have worked (in my case 10 years and 2 months) The collective labor agreement is for the tire and wheel industry.

Lawyer

In principle, you have a notice period of 1 month. This may be different if a longer term is included in your employment contract.

Lawyer

If the CAO states 1 month, then that term applies. So 1 month. This is only different if the CAO offers a deviation option. That is usually not the case in these types of cases.
