Help with Joint Custody: Discover Your Rights

Questioner

Hello, I have been the father of a daughter for 5 months, I already have 2 boys aged 9 and 10, my ex has run away and refuses to cooperate in establishing joint custody. I have recognized the child and it bears my surname, I am in the WSNP and have no money for a lawyer How can I get help to obtain joint custody of my child?

Lawyer

At the moment that you are in the WSNP you are entitled to legal aid and you can call on a lawyer who is largely paid by the government (read www.rvr.org). I handle cases on such a basis. You can try to enforce through the court that you also get authority. The judge will be able to grant this if he finds that it is necessary and that your child is not stuck between you and your ex. For more options you can email me directly.
