Questioner

Dear Sir/Madam, We recently bought a new kitchen. During the discussions about the kitchen I indicated that I wanted to buy an induction stove with oven that does not require more power than 2 phase. (due to previous bad experiences with the installation of the power supply at my parents). The saleswoman confirmed my question and I assumed that the stove does not need more power than the 2 phase. We had it installed this way by an electrician. Once the kitchen was in place, the oven didn't work. A technician came and told us that the stove needed 3 phase power. Now I have an appointment tomorrow at the kitchen store, because they say that I should have read the kitchen papers better. The stove is pictured on these papers. The picture indicates how many watts each cooking zone and the oven is. I should have understood from that that this stove needs 3 phase power, because it is not explicitly stated. It is also not stated on the plan for installing all the power and pipes. I would like to see the stove exchanged or that they meet us halfway with the costs (around 3000 Euro) that we have to make to connect this stove. What am I entitled to in this situation?

Lawyer

The seller must deliver what has been agreed, so you must point out to the seller his obligation to repair the fulfillment in the agreement. That you should read carefully is completely separate from that. If you cannot figure it out, then writing a lawyer can make a good contribution.

A non-conforming product has been delivered and you are therefore entitled to repair or free replacement. Everything that has been discussed and promised to you is part of the content of the agreement. It would be nice if you had a report of the conversation and a witness who would sign it.
