Divorce and Home Sale: Your Rights

Ir/Madam, Due to my divorce, my ex-partner wants us to hire a real estate agent asap to sell our home. He left and immediately moved in with his new partner. I still live with my son in our house and have no prospects of a rental home or anything. My request for divorce has been filed with the court. Initially, I agreed to cooperate with a real estate agent, but on closer inspection I do not want to cooperate for the time being. How can I approach this?

As long as you still live there with your son, you do not have to leave. You cannot be forced to sell the house because you would end up on the street and that is not allowed. Only if you have a prospect of another home. So I advise you not to cooperate.
