Legal question about fiber optic cables?

Questioner

Can a fiber optic operator lay cables through my land (ground) to houses further away without permission. This if I do not want a connection myself? I currently have everything via the satellite dish and feel that I have been incorrectly informed by the company that is going to install everything.

Lawyer

In principle this is not allowed. However, it may be that an easement applies or that the Private Law Obstructions Act applies. This should be evident from the title deed / cadastral message of the pasture.
