Legal Advice on Dismissal and Problems in the Workplace

Good morning, I just worked yesterday, when I got back to work I was called into the office and they said we know that you stole stuff, I took 2 boxes of rum yesterday but when I got back to work they were still in my company car, I admitted this and it was immediately made clear to me that there are 2 options: sign for resignation myself or everything will be put into motion including filing a report, I was so surprised that I immediately said I will sign for my resignation, I have done everything for this company for 13 years, I did the right thing by signing for resignation and when I go to apply for a job, can they say that I stole, I am now also accused of stock discrepancies that I have nothing to do with, I know that everything is against me, but what else can I do or should I leave it as it is, thank you.Questioner
I just heard that if they ask for references they will give the real reason for dismissal but I thought that would not be allowed if I resigned myself I would have been better off not signingLawyer
You can return to your declaration of consent/signature within 14 days. Given your story and the employer's attitude, I advise you to contact a specialized labor law attorney immediately. It is good that an expert looks at your case.Take the next step
