Cancel roadside assistance? Discover the possibilities!

The ANWB writes: 'The statutory increase in insurance tax from 9.7% to 21% also applies to the prices of our Roadside Assistance Service.' Apparently the ANWB association offers the Roadside Assistance Service as a separate Insurance product. Can ANWB members now also - after a year - cancel the Roadside Assistance Service on a monthly basis?

I think that an increase in tax burdens is not an independent basis for being able to terminate the agreement with the ANWB, because it is not a unilateral change by the ANWB. The general terms and conditions of the ANWB probably also say something about it. I advise you to at least consult them.

The ANWB association has a membership of € 17.50 per year which is automatically renewed every year if not cancelled before 15 November. As an option, one can purchase Roadside Assistance Service. Can this Roadside Assistance option, like other Insurances, be cancelled monthly (interim) after the first year?
