Liability in Physiotherapy Practices

Questioner

best, In a physiotherapy practice we want to give people the opportunity to train independently on a small scale. You should think of exercises that combine balance and equilibrium with equipment. We want to create a document where people train at their own risk, without holding us liable for 'accidents'. Is something like this possible, or are you as a practice always responsible? Kind regards,

Lawyer

In principle you can exclude all liability, but in practice you can be held liable for e.g. defective material provided or defective instructions. It all depends on the situation and the circumstances as well as the complaints of the patient.
