Can my agent/landlord terminate my rental agreement without giving any reason, even if he uses the contractual notice period?

Given the opening above your question 'living' I assume that this is a rental agreement for residential accommodation. In principle a rental agreement for residential accommodation is for an indefinite period and this agreement cannot be terminated. However, there are certain rental situations in which termination, or at least notice of termination of the rental agreement is possible. It therefore depends very much on your rental agreement. In general, a rental agreement for residential accommodation cannot be terminated without stating a reason; moreover, such termination has no effect if the tenant does not agree to it and the landlord will have to go to court to have the rental agreement terminated.
