Resolving rental agreement disputes
Questioner
I am renting a commercial space. The landlord charges an amount for rent, advance electricity and water and internet. I have now cancelled my contract, but it still runs until June 1, 2019. Because I will no longer be using the space, I have asked the landlord to stop the electricity, water and internet. They are willing to do this, but only for consumption. They will continue to charge the connection costs and fixed charges. Now my question is: is this correct?Lawyer
If it has been agreed that you rent including water, electricity and internet, then it is reasonable that you continue to pay the subscription costs. After all, you have used these services before. If this has not been agreed, then these costs will be borne by the landlord. If you cannot reach an agreement, I would be happy to look at your case.Take the next step
