Subscription cancellation period: What are your rights?

Questioner

We are an SME company and want to cancel the subscription of the Alarm Center. Now the general terms and conditions state that there is a notice period of 3 months. So then the subscription could only be canceled as of 01-01-2020 GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: 'A Fixed-term Agreement shall be deemed to have been extended for the same period after the expiry of the agreed period, unless the Agreement is terminated by the Client or G4S by registered letter no later than three months before the date of expiry of the period.' Are they allowed to use a notice period of 3 months according to the law? Or is this legally 1 month? And are they allowed to extend the subscription for the same period? In our case 1 year. I look forward to hearing from you.

Lawyer

In B2B agreements a notice period of 3 months is allowed. So you are still stuck with it for a year if you have not terminated by 1-10.
