Legal Options for Financial Problems
Questioner
Hello, I am married in community of property. We are just getting by on our joint incomes and now my husband wants to rent an extra space of 675 euros per month in which he wants to earn extra money by giving clinics. I see absolutely nothing in the plan and find it a totally irresponsible step that will irrevocably cause us debts. Everything is arranged without my knowledge and now I wonder to what extent it is legally possible to enter into these kinds of major obligations on your own, so without both signatures. And how I can legally shield myself somewhat from these kinds of actions.Lawyer
You may wish to consider a legal separation, or ask the court to delegate the management of certain domestic duties to you, or request a ruling that you will not be held liable for any obligations your spouse incurs during this period. In all cases, the court has jurisdiction. Other legal actions are only possible if the harm has already been done, or are very serious and unlikely to be feasible, such as administration by squandering.Take the next step
