Parking your motorcycle on the sidewalk? Discover your rights!

Dear, I would like to know if you are allowed to park a motorcycle on a sidewalk for 3 months without using it. It is not even 3 meters from my garden path and it hinders me when I walk my dogs because they can get their leash caught in the motorcycle and I now have to keep them tight from my front door until I have passed the motorcycle and again shortly when I get home. I have already asked this question to the local council for neighbourhood mediation...no answer...and asked for a Boa.

In principle, it is not permitted to park the motorcycle on the sidewalk, unless this is tolerated. Long-term parking is often not permitted. The motorcyclist must grant you and other residents access to paths without causing inconvenience to others. I advise you to report this to the municipality in writing and ask them to enforce it within a reasonable time.
