Am I obliged to register somewhere with my family (temporarily without a permanent place of residence for 2 months)? If not, what are the possible consequences? You do not need to register at that address for two months, only if you plan to live there for more than 4 months. You must distinguish the law from the provision of a temporary residence address (there may be more than one) as requested for a postal address. A postal address can be established at a permanent residential address, which in this case is not the campsite. Perhaps you can try again or file an objection? It can indeed have consequences for the right to care and old age pension. For that reason you could also ask friends if you can temporarily register with them to rent a room, then you deregister again.
